Windows Power Tools - Introduction

The WizardBlue Windows Power Tools programs are suite of utilities designed to provide system administrators, network administrators, Help Desk staff and general IT support staff with a concise set of tools for querying and managing their network environments.  Most of this software is currently under development and is subject to regular updates, so check back here regularly for updates or use the 'Check for Update' in the help menu to automatically check for the latest version of a particular tool.

Although this software is currently under development, we request that you send in requests for additions and bug reports (after installing latest version!).  A free Alpha/Beta tester key is available upon registration.  Please visit the Registration Key Request page for more information.  Will will not use your details for any other purposes other than the information that you have requested.  Please see our privacy policy for more information.

There are current 2 tools available:

• Windows Power Tools (WPT), which is a console style program.  WPT contains several utilities for general administration.
• Help Desk Information (HDI), which is a client program which once loaded installs a System Tray icon.  The user may double-click the icon to display useful information to Help Desk staff during a support call.  This information is configurable via a simple format text file and can also be centrally updated.  There are now over 50 tags of information that can be displayed!
